Performance of interlining and its matching relationship with fabric

In the production process of clothing technology, interlining is an indispensable auxiliary material, especially in autumn and winter. The functions of interlining in the process of garment production include setting garment part, convenient garment sewing, creating high stiffness of garment part and so on.

Characteristics of interlining

The technological properties of interlining include thickness, elasticity, ironing temperature and working pressure.

1. Non woven interlining, woven interlining are not the same level of thickness. Like cloth, the thickness of interlining is difficult to measure accurately. It can only be distinguished by visual effect and sense. Generally, the thickness of interlining can be classified into three types: thin, medium and thick.

2. There are two kinds of elasticity in spinning interlining, one is the elasticity of hand woven interlining of elastic cotton yarn raw materials, the other is the stretch of hand woven interlining of cotton yarn with warp and weft system software, and the stretch of hand woven interlining of non-woven interlining is the stretch of hand woven interlining.

3. Interlining ironing temperature refers to the temperature at which the interlining glue dissolves when heated. Generally, there are two kinds of interlining: high temperature interlining and ultra-low temperature interlining.

4. The firmness of interlining ironed on cloth is related to the ironing temperature, working pressure and ironing time. Generally, the working pressure of high temperature interlining is relatively high, and the ironing time is relatively long; conversely, the working pressure of ultra-low temperature interlining is relatively low, and the ironing time is relatively short.

Pairing relationship between interlining characteristics and fabric characteristics

The matching relationship between interlining characteristics and fabric characteristics is the key factor to adopt interlining. The technological properties of cloth include cloth elasticity, cloth drape, cloth temperature resistance and so on, which are closely related to the ironing of interlining.

1. There is a positive correlation between the thickness of cloth and that of interlining. The fabric of autumn and winter clothing is relatively thick, and the interlining is also relatively thick. The key is to use spinning interlining; conversely, the textile fabric in spring and summer is relatively thin, and the interlining is also relatively thin.

2. The connection between fabric elasticity and lining elasticity is also positive. Elastic fabric is relatively elastic lining, and fabric with stretch degree is relatively elastic lining, so as to maintain the original characteristics of fabric.

3. The connection between fabric hanging and interlining is shown in the following aspects: soft interlining is used in gentle and free fashion design; hard and solid interlining is used in pompous and geometric figure Gallery fashion design.

4. The relationship between high temperature resistance of cloth and ironing temperature of lining cloth. The key points are: the lining cloth with high ironing temperature is used for the cloth with strong temperature resistance; the lining cloth with low ironing temperature is used for the cloth with low temperature resistance.
